The two legends of Romanian theatre go again on a national tour with the show Caramitru - Mălaele, Spinning a Yarn, a seductive duel of poetry, fables, witty words, stories and memories.

Always surprising, always different and always exceptional, the show Caramitru - Malaele, Spinning a Yarnis an improvisation show… „because improvisation is, actually, the actor’s state of grace”, according to Horatiu Malaele. The show is always different, the pace is different, the humour increasingly sparkly and the ingenuity more and more obvious. The memory of past times is staged by a Caramitru who recites disturbingly, imagining with intelligence and cunning, responses suitable for a volcanic Horatiu Malaele, irresistible and of effervescent wit, the two having Shakespeare, Eminescu or Toparceanu as witnesses.

In ten years of exceptional career, Ion Caramitru and Horatiu Malaele never had the chance to retort each other, neither in film, nor in theatre, although the audience was expecting a dialogue between two actors sharing, beside experience and talent, the love for theatre and for poetry. The much-expected moment came in the fall of 2011, when the two forces united for the first time on the same stage.

Frantically applauded by the audience countrywide, the show is performed every time to a full house, both in Romania, and in the tours for the Romanians abroad.

They shall also be joined on the stage of the Grand Hall of the National Theatre by the humourous group ActOrchestra.
