Based on John Fowles' best-selling novel of the same title, as well as William Wyler's Oscar-nominated and Golden Globe-winning screenplay, "The Collector" is a suspenseful drama that tells the story of a young man who becomes obsessed with an art school student.

Shy and antisocial, Fred lives a mundane life and devotes his free time to his passion: collecting butterflies. His life takes an unusual turn when he develops an obsession with young student Miranda, whom he kidnaps and sequesters in the basement of his house. Dominated by the desire to make her love him, Fred doesn't even realize when he crosses the line and turns into a monster.

"The Collector" is an ideal theatrical thriller for those who want to get their adrenaline level up.
