A new painting exhibition at NTB

Starting from June 6, 2022, the Media Foyer (Intercontinental wing) of NTB will host the painting exhibition "Desprinderi" (Departures) by the artist Norica Veșcă, who exhibits a series of paintings in oil and acrylic, illustrating, according to their theme, the symbolic title proposed by the author, being as many escapes from the greyness of everyday life, "departures" towards high, towards color, towards light...
Norica Veșcă graduated in 2000 from the painting class at the National University of Arts under Professor Ștefan Câlția and was the recipient of government scholarships in Greece and Egypt.
She paints scenery and creates costumes for films, she is also an art teacher and her teaching activity occupies an important place in her concerns, frequently organizing painting classes for children. She has participated in annual group exhibitions and has had solo exhibitions at the National Theatre in Bucharest, the Romanian Cultural Institute, Antena 1, Mogoșoaia Palace, the National Library, the Romanian Peasant Museum, the Ministry of Romanians Living Abroad, etc.
Member of the Union of Fine Artists.
The exhibition Desprinderi (Departures) remains open until July 15, 2022 and can be visited daily from 10 am to 6 pm.
