Daniel Oltean

Born in 1974 in Targu Mures, Daniel Oltean is a graduate of law and philosophy ("Babes-Bolyai" University, Cluj-Napoca), as well as theatrology and drama writing (Art University, Targu Mures). Since 1996, he has been a DIICOT[1] prosecutor in Targu Mures.

He was playwright for the show „The Stone” by Marius von Mayenburg, directed by Theodor-Cristian Popescu (Studio Theatre, Targu Mures, 2012) and for "Offline" directed by Laurentiu Blaga (2018 Targu Mures National Theater).

He was also a performance advisor ("Triple Point", directed by Bogdan Georgescu, National Theatre, Targu Mures, 2014) and co-author of the dramatic text for the show "Mutants" (coordinated by Stefan Peca, directed by Ovidiu Caita, Studio Theatre, Targu Mures, 2016).
