In the current season the actor plays in:
The JourneyPianist and composer, author of more than 25 compositions, David was born in Montreal (August 2009). He studied music privately with Prof. Yoana Petkova in Montreal and with Prof. Viorica Nistoroiu in Bucharest.
A pupil in the 7th grade, he attended his first 6 years at the "École de la Rive" in Châteauguay (Canada).
Activity in Canada: he has composed since the age of 8 more than 25 classical musical pieces and over 20 modern musical compositions; he won the Silver Medal and the Jury Prize at the 38th Interpretation Competition held in the capital of the province of Quebec (Canada), at the gala held on May 14, 2022; he composed music for the audiovisual project Canada Goes Pop funded by the Canadian Arts Council (October 8, 2020); he created the children's YouTube music channel Comptines et Berceuses en Papier where he has over 170. 000 views and 550 subscribers (March 28, 2021).
He was admitted to the Pre-Conservatory of Music in Montreal (Canada) in May 2021.
Activity in Europe: Winner of the Prize of Excellence in the section "Young Hope in Arts", awarded during the "Sommet d'Affaires Franco-Roumain" gala, Paris (France), September 30, 2022. Laureate of the "Mihail Jora" National Festival of Music Performance and Composition, 3rd edition (October 15, 2022), with the Special Jury Prize in the Section: Musical Composition Competition, with the piece "La valse mélancolique", composed in 2022.
He composed the original music for the plays A Life, a Sock, a Dream and a Typewriter (2022) and William Shakespeare. Complete Works - (too)shortened version (2023), performances produced by the George Ciprian Theatre in Buzău.
He attended the Masterclasses held during the "Transilvania Jazz Festival" (2021 and 2022) by German musician Sebastian Studnitzky at the National Academy of Music "Gh. Dima" in Cluj-Napoca.
He has given multiple piano recitals: in Bucharest (August 24, 2022, at the National Theatre in Bucharest), in Cannes (September 27, 2022, as part of the "Expo-concert" project); in Zalău (November 2, 2022) and in Cluj-Napoca (November 6, 2022) as part of the Transylvania Jazz Festival 2022 - 16th edition; at the Cultural Centre of the Brâncovenești Palaces from Mogoșoaia, as part of the multimedia project "A life in a suitcase. France-Germany-Austria-Romania-Ukraine" (November 27, 2022).
His repertoire includes both classical pieces and his own compositions.
