The end of 12th grade. We experience the joy of prom. We go through the excitement of the baccalaureate, then forget our worries on the sand of the party in the Vama Veche. We take a deep breath, look into the eyes of our friends in the gang, and vow never to part. Then we hit the road. And passions, ambitions, potential, families, "the system" - or all of them together - push us to different corners of the world... And promises once made on a beach remain a footnote in a diary: "Someone find our way back."

After the chamber musical "Thrill Me: The Story of Leopold and Loeb", Touchstone Creative returns with a brand new proposal, in co-production with the Bucharest National Theater. "Here We Are! is a Romanian musical in five characters, based on an original libretto by Andrei Radu and Natalie Ester, set to the music of the art-rock band Rockabella, which explores the phenomenon of youth migration and the contexts that influence it. Between rock chords, fulfilled dreams and missed chances, five "No Answer" friends think they are "Invulnerable" and raise the "White Flag" in the hope of reliving an encore together. Audiences will find life stories inspired by true events and fans of local rock music will enjoy new interpretations of songs from the albums "Clarobscur" and "Invulnerabili".

"Touchstone Creative are once again proving that they have mastered the art of the musical after the success of their production of Thrill Me: The Story of Leopold and Loeb, now playing at the Metropolis Theater. The cast is tight-knit and conveys the show's message in a way that young people (and audiences in general) in today's society can understand. A remarkable scene is the one in which, after the high-school graduation exams, the young people arrive in Vama Veche for the last days of fun before "coming of age" and entering a new stage of life. There, they release their emotions, but their actions also lead to drama with long-term consequences.

Let's be honest: how many of us have not spent our nights in the Vama Veche, watching the sea and thinking about future plans with our loved ones? This reality is part of many people's memories, regardless of generation, which is what makes the show touch the souls of all. It's about each and every one of us.

In the intimacy of the Atelier hall, the hearts of the audience seem to beat in unison with the rhythms of the music. I highly recommend going to see it, giving young artists a chance to establish themselves in this kind of performance. Beyond school and home, education is also done in the theater, and this kind of performance speaks the language of today's young people, without being vulgar, sharing their emotions, problems and experiences".
