"All of humanity's problems stem from a person's inability to sit alone in a room without talking." (Blaise Pascal)
At the end of their lives, three misguided souls meet in hell. Although at first glance they seem like ordinary people, their time together in captivity causes them to reveal their deepest, darkest secrets. Then the conflict breaks out - the three begin to judge each other and blame each other for the mistakes of their lives.
Heroes or martyrs, victims or oppressors, no matter which side they are on when they live, people are not without sin. We are exactly what we are trying to be, a sum of the decisions we make during life. And the end comes too soon or too late, only to draw a line to make the addition.
Based on the central idea of Sartre's existentialism in "Behind Closed Doors", the performance Inferno offers a different vision of life after death: the inability to escape the judgement of others seems to the philosopher to be the most terrible torture.
At the end of your life, do you think you come out positive or negative?
