Luiza Marinaș - Let's breathe through color 2022
Intrare liberă / Free entrance
The exhibition "Let's breathe through color" at the "I.L. Caragiale" National Theatre Bucharest
Luiz Marinaș's photographs can be admired from 19 to 29 May 2022, in the TNB Media Foyer, as a prelude to World Allergy Week, 5 - 11 June, a World Allergy Organization event whose theme this year is For Better Breathing - the link between Asthma and Allergies.
Every year, millions of people around the world go day and night to the emergency departments with severe shortness of breath due to asthma attacks. Known as the most common chronic childhood disease, asthma affects the physical and emotional health of people of all ages. In addition to the pollution, which has become a real threat to everyone's health, smoking, pets, house dust, mould, pollens, strong odors, toxic substances hidden in toys and objects in our daily lives, strong emotions, temperature variations and, in certain circumstances, physical exertion are well-known triggers of breathing difficulties.
On 3 May 2022 the Romanian Association for Education in Allergy joined the Global Asthma Initiative for the fourth consecutive year by marking World Asthma Day with the artistic event Let's Breathe through Color.
In the 24 photos exhibited, the photographer Luiza Marinaș captures with great emotion the unequalled miracle of breathing, instilling in us feelings of vulnerability, but also strength, confidence and hope in a colorful life.
The realization of the images was possible with the support of the models Antoaneta Cojocaru, Anastasia Nashko, Patricia Cordoș, Mina and Oana-Irina Duțu, Maria (Mihaela Nica-Nedelcu), Despina and Clara.
In order to receive one of the available photos you must make a donation of 600 RON to the account of the Romanian Association for Education in Allergy, but please contact us in advance to confirm availability by e-mail, at area@educatie-alergii.ro or by phone at 0745 080 808.
The funds raised will be used by the Romanian Association for Education in Allergy to continue its educational and awareness-raising projects on the impact of allergies on the quality of life.
