Cineacordeon Emy Drăgoi & Medeea Marinescu - from Silent Film to Musical

Cineacordeon is a new project by the well-known accordionist Emy Drăgoi, who proposes to the audience, within a complex show, a musical journey begun in the silent film era and the brilliant actor Charlie Chaplin, then reaching scores from famous modern film creations.

Emy Drăgoi and his accordion are joined by the well-known actress of the National, Medeea Marinescu - one of the "wonder children" of Romanian film -, who has meanwhile become one of the most cherished theatre and film actresses of her generation. From this moment, the curtain rises symbolically to the world of film soundtrack and musical themes, signed by famous composers, from Charlie Chaplin to Michel Legrand or Francis Lai. You will recognize tunes from the films Casablanca or Smile, but also from the Romanian films Freckled or Maria Mirabela.

Cineacordeon reveals to the spectators a conquering musical universe, as it happens with each of the musical incursions that bear the artistic signature of performer and composer Emy Drăgoi.
