The performance is a production of the Elvira Godeanu Theater in Targu Jiu and is presented in partnership with the I.L. Caragiale National Theater in Bucharest.

Not recommended for audiences under the age of 16

A performance about addictions and phobias, lack of love, hatred, and immorality. The action takes place in a forgotten village, haunted by oppressive silence and piercing glances.

Morphine, a national premiere based on Mikhail Bulgakov's novel, tells the story of a young doctor who becomes addicted to morphine in an attempt to escape the suffering and trauma caused by a great disappointment in love. The play is the confession of a man who has gone through hell because of his addiction, overwhelmed by the pressure of others.
