The play is a comedy that focuses on the romantic desires, traditions and compromises two people make when they are in a relationship. Marriage can be a silly tradition to get over, but it can also be a valid solution, as long as both partners agree on one of the options.
But what do you do when the two have completely different opinions? Amy and Sean, two people who have been in a relationship for two years and nine months and live together, return from a wedding where she caught the bouquet and he caught the garter. The event makes Amy dream of the day she will become a bride, but Sean is against marriage.
After a joke Sean makes, tempers flare and the war begins, with everyone using everything they have to win.
The delicious arguments and everything they do and say in an attempt to be right are things we've all done in the relationships we've had, have or will have.
