When winter draws near in Romania, it is already a tradition that Paul Surugiu-Fuego takes the road, bearing his musical pouch, throughout the entire country, recounting Christmas, its wonders and the joy to make others happy within a fairytale-like holiday. This time, he shall start on 4^th December 2017, from Brașov and shall conclude with a musical feast, with special guests and surprises, on 25^th December 2017, on the very first Christmas day, in the wonderful Grand Hall of the National Theatre of Bucharest.

The concert December Letter is a contemporary story about beauty, about quality, about positive emotions and feelings one can only nurture and live at this intensity around Christmas. Fuego proposes a visual and acoustic show, relying on the emotion stirred by the messages of his songs and poems. At the same time, alongside his audience, the artist shall write a long letter dedicated to Christmas, which he shall subsequently publish.

As no project of the Fuego brand comes without surprises, the performer does not fall short this time either. He has prepared unique moments, for two hours, alongside his band, together with unforgettable melodies, new and spectacular songs, but also the most beautiful, hummed and broadcasted carols of his 20 years as a singer. The show December Letter is a reverie, a return to the simple values and symbols, in which all of us believe, but which we have forgotten, due to the chaos and stress we are living in.

„I shall lay out, as memories, after 11 years since I have launched the idea to take my Christmas songs throughout the country, a series of moments which are impossible to forget. I do not wish any barriers and to feel together the thrill, bliss, pace, sensibility and finesse of musical notes. The lyrics shall also be by my side, seemingly wishing to replenish the atmosphere of a fairytale concert. This letter of mine conceals silences, optimism, realism, relaxation, different melodies, positive messages and of course, the joy of decorating the Christmas tree.

I am also preparing new pieces and established songs in all these years, in which we have built a special connection. I would like you to come without expectations and enjoy the holiday magic and a mature Paul Surugiu, eager to do something grand, royal, princely, writing with you, through memories, a December letter to the world!
