A theatre director, playwright and the university professor. She graduated from the Directing Department of the Drama Art Faculty in Belgrade in 1985. With the plays she directed and wrote, and as director of plays on the contemporary dramaturgy and classical drama (Bremen Freedom by R.W. Fassbinder, The Nest by F.X. Kroetz, Madame de Sade by Y. Mishima, The Family History Writer by Lj. Đurković, Leonce and Lena by G. Büchner, Ant Confusion, Taking Care of the Dead and The Play by Aleksandar Popović, The Time of Miracles by B. Pekić, Count Zanović by V. Sekulić, Don Juan Comes Back from the War, O.V. Horvath, Danilo by M. Kovać, opera The Balcan Empresswritten by the Montenegrin King Nikola I Petrović, Summerfolk by M. Gorki, Njegoš, The Fires, based on the The Light of Microcosm by Petar II Petrović-Njegoš, Existence by E. Bond) she participated in many festival: The Moscow Theatre Festival (Russia), Sterijinopozorje (Serbia), Poletni festival (Slovenia), Mitelfest (Italy), MOT (Macedonia), Elbasan Theatre Festival (Albania), Sarajevo Winter and MESS (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Theatre City Budva and International Theatre Festival KotorArt (Montenegro), NETA Festival (Bulgaria). She is theauthorof the playsPrincessKsenija of Montenegro (1993), Montenegrins (1998), Montenegro blues (2005), and Everyman Đjilas(2013). She has received many awards, among which the most significant is the state award 13th July (1997). Since 2014 she is rector of University of Montenegro.
