All these painters collaborated with the Soleil de l'Est Association towards organizing in France and later in other EU countries, prestigious cultural events, painting exhibitions, book launches, artist residencies, meetings with members of Romanian communities in France, with French and Romanian people of culture, contacts with local painters and their organizations. The works of Romanian painters have been successfully and interestingly presented in the over 150 exhibitions organized by the Association, since 1990, both in France, Paris and other French cities, as well as in Brussels, The Hague, Vienna, Bratislava, Rome, Aarhus - European Capital of Culture 2017, as well as in Bucharest. It is very important for the Romanian audience to know that the works of these true “ambassadors” of Romanian painting were viewed and appreciated by the knowledgeable and erudite French public. They successfully represented, with a lot of mastery and artistic competence, Romanian cultural values.”
On the occasion of the opening of the exhibition on November 18th, 2021 (at 5.30 pm), in the presence of the representatives of the "Soleil de l'Est" Association and the exhibiting painters, there will be a screening of footage with Romanian painters in France and an artistic documentation stand will be made available to the public, with art albums made by Soleil de l'Est.
