The Show of Each and Every One!
Actors Horațiu Mălăele, Dana Dogaru and Emilia Popescu are bidding Farewell to the Café through three gala representations.
The Café – a bitter buffoonery, introducing to us the simple story of an American family: Louise and Wally Murdock (seen at the age of 30, 50 and 70); their broken, but also reinforced marriage through the appearance of young Janet. The protagonists of the show are great actors of the Romanian stage: Emilia Popescu, Dana Dogaru and Horaţiu Mălăele.
A comedy in which laughter acquires the salty taste of tears. A show on life, love, betrayal and loneliness; a show of everyone, but especially of anonymous souls, ravaged by apparently trifling adversities.
Throughout the comedy, laughter acquires the salty taste of tears, whereas the show on life, love, betrayal and loneliness prevails.
- artistic unaffectedness, good taste, measure and balance
- comic vein and spontaneous retorts.
- a quality show, funny, sparkling, reassuring, shrouded in humane melancholies...
Horaţiu Mălăele transforms a little American blasé drama into a burst of humour and emotion. Exclusive dramatic abilities.
“Clearer than anything, I have discovered my ambitions and weaknesses, my blessings and my curses, my life, yours, ours and all in all capsized into the life of this imaginary family – the vivid and terrifying mirror of our life on Earth”. Horaţiu Mălăele
