National Premiere - The Hunchback of Notre-Dame

An extraordinary ballet performance based on the novel "Notre-Dame de Paris" by Victor Hugo (1802-1885) French poet, playwright and novelist.

The direction and choreography of the performance belong to the talented dancer and choreographer Vlad Sebastian, a name already known in many theatres in the country, Europe and the world. The musical story is the work of the famous musician Peter Venczel.

It is a grandiose performance, bringing together for the first time on the same stage 3 professional ballet ensembles: The Ballet Ensemble of the Hungarian State Opera of Cluj-Napoca, the Ballet Ensemble of the Teatro D`Opera italiana and the Ballet Ensemble of the Vox Opera House, with more than 50 professional ballet dancers from Romania and from other countries, ballet soloists who dance in important theatres in Europe. The lighting and stage lights, special effects, 3D projections, effects with "heavy smoke" produced from dry ice, make The Hunchback of Notre-Dame the most complex ballet performance staged in our country in the last years!

How long has it been since you've seen 50 ballet dancers on the same stage? Maybe a very long time, maybe never!!! But most certainly never in March, Women's Month, telling such a famous story with romantic heroes in dance steps.
