The road to pink - photography, Blondie Association
Intrare liberă / Free entrance
Starting from June 8, 2022, the "I.L. Caragiale" National Theatre will host in the Media Foyer (the wing facing Tudor Arghezi Street) a disturbing exhibition of photographs, whose title, The Road to Pink, speaks for itself... The exhibition is organized by the Blondie Association - Share for Another Share, an association that was founded so that all children, regardless of their material or social situation, always receive adequate and timely medical treatment. The exhibition aims to raise awareness and is also a fundraising. Photos of Blondie children - including children from Ukraine evacuated from the war and sick children transported to hospitals abroad - will be on display.
"....we want to grow in number, to make a difference and show that if evil happens to come from the sky, we lift planes to bring good up there too" – that is the message of the Blondie Association.
We spread the word!
Starting from today, June 8, 2022, at 11 am and until June 30, 2022, at the National Theatre of Bucharest, Media Hall, we create (we say, we don't have evidence) the longest infusion ever seen.
Yes, we are building a 1 km long infusion which, with your help, we'll be filling with pink liquid throughout the whole period!
For every donation of at least €10, we will paint 1 meter of the infusion in pink. And so on until we fill it all up!
We named the event The Road to Pink because that's how the lives of seriously ill children begin - with a long and very hard road. You'll see these children within the event, the children from the Blondie flights - Arya, Marki, Andra, Dominic. Paul and Ilinca.
We'll be there every day to give you the pink syringe. The excitement is yours. The good, theirs!
