A comedy in which everything goes wrong. And that's exactly what makes it brilliant.

It all starts with the best of intentions: a troupe of amateur actors stages a classic detective mystery, complete with suspense and serious dialogue. The set is (almost) ready, the actors know (almost) their lines, and the director is (almost) calm. But from the very first minutes, it becomes clear that something—or rather everything—is not working.

The forces of nature, stage accidents, all kinds of bad luck, and a series of absolutely memorable mistakes converge toward the same result: turning this show into a comic catastrophe of epic proportions. The set falls apart before the audience's eyes, the doors don't open when they should, the props create unexpected confusion, and the actors... well, the actors try their best to carry on, with stoicism, professionalism, and a lot of unintentional humor.

”The Show Must Go On” is a delightful combination of comedy, pantomime, and improvisation, in a show that celebrates failure with grace and laughter with tears. Inspired by the international success of “The Play That Goes Wrong,” the performance has captivated audiences around the world since its London premiere in 2012.

A tribute to the actor who refuses to give up, even when the stage collapses beneath him, "The Show Must Go On" is more than a title—it's a promise: no matter how disastrous the situation, laughter is guaranteed!

A performance produced by the Montage Association and supported by the Bucharest Youth Foundation.
