Return to the Roots: Marius Mihalache & Band, guest Adrian Naidin 16 May 2026
Event presented in partnership with the National Theater in Bucharest The concept of the concert aims to bring to the fore the music that is part of our DNA and that envelops the collective consciousness of Romanians. It is the music we were born with and from which we began to build our values. In this project, I want to invite artists who have created around Romanian identity, regardless of the musical fusions they have adopted in their careers. A show about roots, freedom, and the magic of sound. “Return to the Roots” it is not just a concert, but a sensory experience about rediscovery. The dialogue between Marius Mihalache's cimbalom and Adrian Naidin's cello promises to break down the barriers between musical genres, taking the audience from the emotion of authentic folklore to the freedom of jazz and the power of classical music. Given the exclusive nature of the event, the organizers recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Children under 6 accompanied by their parents have free access if they occupy the same seat as their parent. Not recommended for children under 5 years of age. The use of protective headphones for children is recommended.   Translated by Andreea Codrea-Boeriu

Symphony of Love 16 March 2026
Independent show hosted by the National Theatre of Bucharest. The responsibility for the quality and content of this event lies solely with the organiser!   The harmonies of love in the masterpieces of the great composers: from Mozart to Rossini and Donizetti, and from Verdi to Puccini, Tchaikovsky, and Ennio Morricone. An evening where music, dance, and voices tell the most beautiful story in the world: Love. We invite you to a spectacular performance in which the Orchestra di Teatro d’Opera Italiana, the Opera Vox Orchestra, the Opera Vox Ballet and Choir, together with conductor and solo violinist Bogdan Costache, come together in a unique artistic experience. From Mozart's timeless elegance to the joy of Rossini and Donizetti's music, to the romantic love taken to the point of sacrifice in Verdi's operas, continuing with the romantic heroes of Tchaikovsky's ballet Romeo and Juliet, you will hear and see the most famous musical pieces dedicated to love. On stage, the music comes to life, the dance steps become emotion, and the voices of the choir and soloists bring depth to every moment. From Johann Strauss to Bogdan Costache, or the Viennese model of conducting with a violin in hand. The musical direction of the performance will be provided by the young conductor and solo violinist Bogdan Costache, one of the most talented orchestra conductors of the younger generation, born in Romania. Bogdan Costache's presence in the performance Symphony of Love is thanks to you, the audience, who love him so much and want to see him as often as possible on stages in Romania. Thus, the concert will be interactive, conducted "with violin in hand" following the model of Johann Strauss or André Rieu. Bogdan will surprise you with many famous pieces dedicated to love, many of them in their national premiere. Pieces by Romanian composers dedicated to love will also be included. The performance will be completed by the Vox Opera Choir and Ballet, with direction and choreography by Vlad Sebastian, a renowned name in musical theaters in Romania and abroad. Talented young Romanians at the beginning of their careers Promoting the new generation of Romanian musicians is an essential part of our mission. Every year, we bring to the public young artists who are at the beginning of their careers but have already been recognized and awarded at music competitions in Romania and abroad. This year, we invite you to discover the talent of guitarist Gabriel Popescu, who will take the stage alongside his teacher and mentor, Madalin Antonesei. Symphony of Love – a performance that will touch your soul!   Translated by Andreea Codrea-Boeriu
