The Bucharest Symphonic Orchestra is inviting you on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 8.00 pm, for an extraordinary concert, which has at its center the work of the great composer Antonio Vivaldi.

"The Four Seasons" by A. Vivaldi are a source of inspiration for countless musicians, and over the years, compositions based on the great composer's work have appeared, versions that are original in their originality, both in their use of themes and in their approach to different classical instrument formulas.

In the performance of Valentin Serban, violinist and winner of the grand prize of the violin section at the George Enescu International Competition (2020/21 edition), you will find the classical creation of the composer A. Vivaldi.

And in the performance of the soloist Catalin Oprițoiu - flute, multiple laureate of the International Competition "Constantin Silvestri", Romania (1990-1993) winner of the International Flute Competition in Volos, Greece, solo-flutist of the Seoul Symphony Orchestra (South Korea) and soloist of the Bucharest Symphonic Orchestra, we will listen to "The Four Seasons" reorchestrated especially for this occasion by Eduard Dabrowski.

Thus, under the baton of the young conductor Eduard Dobrowski, we will have a unique concert! From different versions in various classical instrument formulas to rock versions, the music of the great Vivaldi remains immortal and the Bucharest Symphonic Orchestra tries to break the pattern that makes us believe that classical music is intangible and inaccessible, thus coming each time to people's souls.
