ActOrchestra travels to three cities in Moldova
NTB reaches three cities in the Republic of Moldova with "ActOrchestra", as part of the "Tour of Romanian Actors"
The Tour of Romanian Actors brings to three cities in the Republic of Moldova one of the most successful shows of the National Theatre "I.L. Caragiale" in Bucharest, "ActOrchestra", directed by Horia Suru.
This tour of the National Theatre of Bucharest in Cahul, Chisinau and Balti is supported by the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova (DRRM) and brings this theatrical-musical production to Moldovan audiences on June 28, June 30 and July 2, 2023. The project is entirely funded by DRRM, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova, and the admission is free.
ActOrchestra is a humorous story with three characters on the unpredictable road to supremacy on stage, a concert translated into a cheerful, sonorous and rhythmic story. The three actors who will be present in the three cities of the tour are Petre Ancuta, Florin Calbajos and Emilian Marnea.
The performances are scheduled as follows: June 28, 2023, 5:00 pm, at the "B. P. Hasdeu" National Theatre in Cahul; June 30, 2023, 7:00 pm, at the Nameless Theatre in Chisinau; July 2, 2023, 6:00 pm, at the "Vasile Alecsandri" National Theatre in Balti.
The first performance of the tour was "Extra", an exceptional one-woman-show with Tania Popa (born in the Republic of Moldova, in Causeni), performed on April 28 at the Nameless Theatre in Chisinau with a full house.
DRRM promotes Romanian values across the Prut and supports, through this project, the meeting of the actors of the National Theatre "I.L. Caragiale" in Bucharest with the audience from several localities of the Republic of Moldova, in order to facilitate their access to Romanian culture and language.
