On Sunday, 4 June 2017, from 11.00 a.m., in the Black Box Hall of NTB, Mr. Cristian Bădiliță shall hold the conference on the topic Mircea Eliade’s Glasses. Rescued Pages from the Journal of the Great Scholar.
About the Conference
On the occasion of the 110th anniversary since the birth of Mircea Eliade (1907-1986), Cristian Bădiliţă shall recount the story of the rescue of a major fragment from the Journal of the scholar-writer. Everything started from a call received over twenty years ago from Paul Barbăneagră, the director who left us the only film-testimonial with and about Mircea Eliade. The rescued pages were recently published at the Tracus Arte Publishing House of Bucharest, accompanied by an Introduction and over three hundred explanatory notes. The story shall be accompanied by images and lectures from the saved Journal.
