Corneliu Coposu Gala, 4th edition, 2019
The Foundation's central event, held every year on the same day, on November 11th, 2019, a crucial date for those who wish to pay tribute to the Corneliu Coposu Foundation in memory of the former Senior of Romanian politics, Corneliu Coposu, also honours this year the memory of the last great politician that Romania had at the end of the twentieth century, through a unique, exceptional event.

About Jan Akkerman
He started his career with the Brainbox group, continuing with the Focus supergroup. He has released over 30 albums and has recorded with BB King, Paco de Lucia, Phil Collins, Charlie Byrd or Cozy Powell, Claus Ogerman and Ice T.
He is indispensable at the most important jazz festivals in the world, such as the Montreux Jazz Festival , North Sea Jazz Festival, present on stages worldwide: Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro or Moscow.
He won the first place in 1973 for guitar performance, eclipsing Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Jeff Back and Santana.

In 1991, he participated in the Night of The Guitars II, a European tour organized by Sting and The Police alongside Ronnie Montrose, Saga's Ian Crichton, Robin Trower of at Procol Harum, Dave Sharman and Laurie Wisefield.
In 2005, he was awarded the Golden Harp for his entire career and for his contribution to the history of guitar.
In 2012, he received the high distinction of Knight of the Orange-Nassau Order.
