Three Italian Tenors - In Women's Month
03 March 2025Private event hosted by the National Theatre in Bucharest. The responsibility for the quality and content of this event lies solely with the organizer! What could be more appropriate in the most beautiful month of the year, when the snowdrops are in full bloom and nature is beginning to come alive, than a musical journey to "Bella Italia" to the rhythms of Neapolitan cantatas and the most famous arias from Italian operas, but also with thoughts of the shores of the seas that bathe the "homeland of music", the Adriatic on one side and the Mediterranean, Tyrrhenian and Ligurian on the other! And all this happens in the month when we celebrate the Woman - mother, wife, lover! And who could be more appropriate to take us through this musical story of Women's Day than the three Italian tenors who grew up listening to and singing these famous songs and arias as children? Who would feel them, experience them and sing them better than them? That's why we thought that famous arias like "Nessun dorma", "La donna e mobile" or cantatas like: "Mamma", "O sole mio", "Santa Lucia", "Funiculi, Funicula" or "Caruso", just to mention a few of the ones you will hear, will make you step optimistically into the coming spring! The performance 3 Italian Tenors is a tribute to the great tenors José Carreras, Plácido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti, three legendary artists who conquered the whole world with their voices and performances, and the exceptional voices of the three guest tenors, Federico Veltri, Fabio Serani and Angelo Forte, voices in the purest style of Italian belcanto, will remind the audience of the beautiful voices of those who founded this concept. The other guests who will complete our event will be no less! The Opera in Rome, the Scala Theatre in Milan, the Regio Theatre in Parma or the Mozarteum in Salzburg are the opera theatres from where the other special guests, famous baritones and sopranos, will come to try to stand up to the 3 Italian tenors! The performance will be an interactive one, the musical direction being provided, following the model of Johann Strauss or, more recently, André Rieu, "with violin in hand", by the young conductor and violin soloist Bogdan Costache, a name already known in all philharmonics and opera houses in Europe. He will conduct the famous Orchestra di Teatro D'Opera Italiana and the Vox Opera Orchestra, making it easy for you to meet famous instrumentalists from Europe and the world once again! Audiences will be humming the famous choruses of the cantatas with our beautiful chorus girls and keeping the beat with our dancers, so everyone will be thrilled and experiencing art at its best! Are you still looking for a gift for your loved one or the person who gave you life? An invitation to such a show could be the perfect gift! Won't you be coming to the great opera houses of Italy in the near future to hear the beautiful voices of famous Italian tenors in the purest style of Italian belcanto? You have the chance to do it in your city! They will come to us! In the Women's Month! Translated by Andreea Codrea-Boeriu

Stefan Hrusca – Carols recital 2024
16 December 2024Independent show hosted by the National Theatre of Bucharest. The organiser is exclusively liable for the quality and content of this event! A brand new Christmas, a new magical story brought by the unmistakable voice of Stefan Hrusca. As every year, the artist who has become the symbol of Romanian carols invites us to meet again under the warm light of his songs, in a soulful tour that continues a tradition that has been unbroken for more than three decades. For Hrusca, each carol is a testimony to our spiritual roots, a link between past and present that unites us through faith and love of our nation. Each of his performances becomes a moment of introspection and rediscovery, an oasis of tranquility in the midst of modern bustle. This year, Hrusca surprises us with a special selection of carols, some well known and loved by everyone, others less heard, but just as full of meaning and charm. His deep and vibrant voice, along with the harmonies of traditional carols, bring back to our hearts that pure atmosphere of the holidays of yesteryear. With each concert, Stefan Hrusca reminds us that, beyond gifts and pomp, Christmas is about warmth in our hearts, about family and faith, and above all about communion with our loved ones, regardless of the distances that separate us. Over the years, his carols have become a true ritual of the winter holidays, without which many Romanians would not be able to fully feel the Christmas spirit. With each performance, Hrusca renews our hope, brings us together and makes us feel that, wherever we are, Christmas is in the heart of each one of us. We invite you again this year to experience the magic of Christmas carols with Stefan Hrusca, to let yourself be carried away by the story of his songs and enjoy the unaltered beauty of our ancestral traditions!
