A performance presented in partnership with the National Theater of Bucharest

Transformed into dust from the pages of books, Ileana and Romulus Vulpescu have forever entered Romanian culture, which they served faithfully and devotedly. Through this performance, we seek to reclaim this “vanishing trace,” to honor them by reading, re-reading, and singing their poetry and prose, delighting in the infinity of their words, in a world that needs wisdom, freedom, love, and dreams. So, we will converse for a few dozen minutes with Ileana and Romulus Vulpescu in an open, musical-poetic performance.
