ndependent performance hosted by the National Theater in Bucharest. The responsibility for the quality and content of this event belongs exclusively to the organizer!

A desired performance, a state of mind that harmoniously fuses different genres, poetry with music, monologue with folk ballad, a performance at the confluence of culture and cult. It tells us a moving story about life, love, sacrifice, becoming, the birth of each one of us, in a warm, moving atmosphere, brought about by the approach of the Nativity. A performance that brings us all together, by the fire in the fireplace, around the Christmas tree, in the smell of the Christmas cake from our grandparents' house, in the sound of carols, etc. We will be accompanied by the thoughts and words of authors dear to us: Mihai Eminescu, Lucian Blaga, Nichita Stanescu, Ioan Alexandru, Daniel Turcea, V.Voiculescu, Maria Calciu, etc. We will use words to express what is beyond words... The words will be accompanied by traditional and cultured music and the sound of the piano.

Verses and Canticles is a reverential performance of the Romanian culture that can combine in a unique way the ethnic element with the cultic, culminating with the cultic. The spectator will be taken on a journey of emotions without knowing how and when the journey has traveled and time has passed. What unites all these compartments is the desire to bring before the audience a story, a testimony of the joy of living.

The special guest of the evening is Priest Vlad Rosu who will bring much joy with his voice. The actors Ana Calciu, Anca Sigartau, Tomi Cristin will be part of the story of this performance.

Soprano Maria Madalina Constantin, soloist of the George Enescu Philharmonic, bass Alin Horia Manzat, performer of the Romanian Opera Bucharest

Pianist and composer Antonia Dragomir, winner of numerous international awards, trained in the Canadian art system.
