“Butterflies, Butterflies”, is the story of a single woman, a woman who plays in her own life the role she wants to present to the world: a strong, beautiful and independent woman who has allowed herself to be courted and loved by men of material and social status, without submitting to any of them. Edda, for she is the woman for whom family and children are burdens, obstacles in the way of her narcissism. She is the woman who cannot distinguish between reality and illusion, who lives in her own world and refuses to accept reality. It is a life story that moves from the finesse of comedy to deep drama, a story about illusion, dreams, love, truth and coming to terms with it.

The three characters in the cast we find today in different families, seeming to be universal. The new premiere of "Butterflies, Butterflies" will impress by the originality of the staging, the playing space, the visual elements (drawing in the sand), the original music that will punctuate every comic or dramatic moment and, last but not least, the perfect cast: Maia Morgenstern, Marius Manole and Alexandra Paftala. This new premiere, "Butterflies, butterflies", brings to the stage a very special theatrical production, sprinkled with comic moments but also with much, much drama.
