The IL Caragiale National Theatre announces the resumption, starting with Monday, February 8th, 2021, of the Theatre Guided Tours, with 3 daily tours, 7 days out of 7! The new halls, workshops and backstage of the National Theatre can be visited. In order to comply with the provisions in force imposed by the pandemic, the number of participants in each tour is limited to 6 people. The new schedule of these tours is as follows: Monday - tours start at 12.00, 2.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. From Tuesday to Sunday - tours start at 2.00 p.m., 4.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. Tickets are on sale at both the TheatreBox Office (located in the Grand Hall lobby, with entrance in front of NTB), as well as online, on the MyStage platform. The price of a ticket is 10 lei, and the duration of a visit will be 45 minutes. The meeting place will be the Grand Hall lobby, in front of the Box Office. Please show up a quarter of an hour before your chosen time to visit the theatre, even if you have purchased tickets online. Participation is made within the 6 available places. The I.L. Caragiale National Theatre of Bucharest announces the resumption of the performances at the headquarters, in all halls, in compliance with all the norms in force, imposed by the COVID-19 epidemic. The halls will be able to be occupied in proportion to 30 percent of the capacity, therefore we invite you to buy tickets in advance if you want to be among the first spectators to return, after a break of over 3 months, to the theatre.We are ready to resume the season as soon as possible. We need this from all points of view. Spiritual, moral, professional, financial… The theatrical institution, without specific activity, cannot be justified as a living being, as we believe it to be. For us, it is vital to find out that we can open the season", stated the NTB manager, Ion Caramitru.Starting with February 5th, 2021, the I.L. Caragiale National Theatre schedules performances in all halls. Among the first shows you will be able to watch starting with this date are: Romanian Diary.1989 – the NTB premiere of the summer of 2020 and the Little Hell (at the Grand Hall), The Door Mat and The Beauty of Venice in September (Studio Hall), Titanic Orchestra and The Man Who Saw Death (Painting Hall), at the Black Box Hall - the latest show, Incognito by Nick Payne, as well as Anonymous Venetian, or 20 Years in Siberia, thus a wide range of repertoire offers, completed, at the Media Hall, where on Sunday, at 11.00, the Magician of Stories invites the youngest of the NTB spectators to a reunion with The Theatre Game and the World of Romanian Fairy Tales.The complete schedule of the next period can be read on the theatre`s website,, in Calendar.Tickets go on sale at the NTB Ticket Office starting tomorrow, Saturday, January 23rd, 2021, at 11.00, as well as online on the platform.
