In an amusement park, a man and a woman who do not know each other are forced by circumstances to spend an hour together in a "room of surprises". The room fully deserves its name, the surprises will come one after the other, in a snowball that will turn into an avalanche, risking destroying the lives of both of them. But, because the author Lia Bugnar loves her characters and offers them the chance of a happy ending whenever possible, we witness here a comedy in which an innocent outing on Sunday in an entertainment park brings the protagonists in the situation of seeing their true selves and recognize that. The gap between what we seem and what we are in reality, between what we say and what we think is a topic that is often found in the performances of Lia Bugnar, the author finding in this discrepancy a continuous source of humor on the one hand and psychological study on the other. "The Truth Game" is a romantic comedy in which sadness and a smile intertwine in the most delicate and natural way possible. A show about truth and falsehood, about love and deception, about our fears and the courage to acknowledge them.
